Product detailed description

Traditionally, this plant is associated with the undefeatable Hindu goddess Aparajita. You can now regularly enjoy a sip of invincibility in your favourite drink, but you can also add the powder to a face or hair mask. Its high dose of antioxidants can protect you from the outside as well, helping your skin and hair to mature gracefully.

How did this product win us over?

  • It is amazingly versatile. The practical powdered form and good solubility mean that you can mix it into your drink or food, as well as into your face or hair mask.
  • The ingredients are organic. Anima Mundi gets this beneficial flower exclusively from organic farmers in Southeast Asia. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about ingesting pesticide or herbicide residues or GMOs.

As undefeatable as the goddess Aparajita

Clitoria is a beautiful tropical climbing plant commonly known as butterfly pea flower, Asian pigeonwings, or bluebellvine. It has been known and used in the Ayurvedic tradition and traditional Chinese medicine for hundreds of years, whereas the Western world is only just discovering its fascinating properties. Blue tea, the turquoise drink made from the flowers of Clitoria, has become quite a hit.

The Latin name of the plant, Clitoria ternatea, is derived from its resemblance to the female vulva and also from the name of Ternate, an Indonesian island. It therefore comes as no surprise that the tea, extract, or powder from the plant are sought after by women desiring harmony in the area of their cycle and sexuality.

Clitoria flowers are a rich source of antioxidants, especially flavonoids and the blue pigment anthocyanin. They are a lot richer in anthocyanins than blueberries. For thousands of years, the Ayurvedic tradition has used the blue Clitoria tea in ceremonies as a symbol of protection, love, and peace. It is associated with the Hindu goddess Aparajita, whose name means “the undefeatable one”.

Unfortunately, we can‘t reveal much more about the health benefits of this plant due to current EU legislation on dietary supplements which prevents us from expanding on the above information. For more information, try googling non-eCommerce websites.
