Behind this Czech brand, there is a team of nature lovers who decided to fill up your morning cup with a “super-tea” made of a beneficial Amazonian plant. In doing this, they want to benefit you as well as the rainforest. They obtain guayusa from a small local production of indigenous communities in Ecuador. It is grown in a traditional way in their chacras - these are farmed “forest gardens” where all the crops the natives need for their sustenance grow in symbiosis. The varied range of crops does not deplete the soil and the plants provide shade and protection from pests to each other. This way of farming does not require synthetic fertilisers, pesticides, or modern technologies. Everything is done as much in harmony with nature as possible. With guayusa, you also provide financial help to the rainforest, as the producer donates part of the profits to the reforestation of deforested areas and protection of endangered species of rainforest woody plants.
