The soaps are cold-processed, so the consumption of energy is negligible. They upcycle the unused shavings from other CBL soaps, so nothing is wasted. In addition, the soaps are made in reusable moulds and, whenever possible, the ingredients come from local sources to minimise transportation emissions. You will love these soaps, regardless of your skin type, as they do not dry the skin and, thanks to a well-thought-out natural formula, even regenerate it. What exactly will you find in this set?
Air Soap: has an energising citrus scent, it is made of shea mutter and French clay. It smooths, cleanses, and softens the skin.
Earth Soap: is made of nourishing shea butter, activated charcoal, and young wheat.
Ocean Soap: refreshes, softens, and soothes the skin. Its formula is enriched with seaweed and activated charcoal.
How is a zero-carbon footprint soap made?
Cold-processing is a huge relief for nature, as it minimises energy usage. One-time moulds are not used at CodexBeauty Labs and they found a way to upcycle unused material and use them as gentle exfoliating particles. Another sustainable step is the ingredients that come from eco-friendly conditions where no irritating fertilisers or pesticides are used. The minimalist packaging made of soy wax paper, which is entirely compostable, also contributes. However, the production process still generates a certain negative impact, which is why the company plants trees to compensate for it, so that the final balance would be truly neutral.
How can you use these soaps?
- The same as any other soap. :) When applied to wet skin, the soap produces rich lather. Rinse it off and enjoy the aromatherapeutic experience of natural fragrance.
- Put it somewhere to dry after use.
- Suitable for everyday use and all skin types.
- Be careful not to rub the soap into your eyes. If signs of irritation appear, discontinue use.
