About the manufacturer
Although you cannot see free radicals with the naked eye, these tiny molecules threaten your vitality, well-being, and thwart your dreams of longevity. Adding fuel to the fire is the city smog and a cocktail of irritants that you encounter in your environment on a daily basis. As soon as free radicals gain the upper hand in your body, oxidative stress ensues. Luckily, it can be compensated by antioxidants, and these abound in the plant-based ProLife capsules. They are dominated by the very king of antioxidants, astaxanthin. The experts at Trime obtain it from local, organically grown microalga Haematococcus pluvialis of exceptional purity. Full-spectrum vitamin E also rushes to help your cells. In addition to tocopherols, it also contains the more effective red palm tocotrienols, and together they help you balance out the effects of oxidative stress and a hectic lifestyle. You should watch your antioxidant intake especially if you play sports, experience mental rush and stress, and spend a lot of time in the bustle of a polluted city.
Free radicals are molecules that form in the body naturally, but also as a consequence of diseases. Add to that city smog, pesticides from food, sun radiation, too much or too little physical activity, and a little stress at work…
A free radical molecule contains oxygen with an odd number of electrons. The unpaired one tries to pair up as quickly as possible. That is why it is often unstable and reactive, and precisely this reaction is called “oxidative”. If there are too many free radicals in our body, the organism does not manage to eliminate them all and our cells are in danger.
The risk of oxidative stress can be reduced by antioxidants. They are the first ones to react with free radicals and disrupt their destructive activities. It is therefore important that our body has enough of them.
Due to its unique properties, astaxanthin has earned the nickname “King of antioxidants” and some even call it the substance of the future. Its effects are 800 times superior to those of coenzyme Q10, it is 3,000 times more potent than resveratrol, and its action is 6,000 times stronger than that of vitamin C. What sets it apart from other antioxidants is not only its potency, but also the unique way it protects the cells of the organism.
Vitamin E is a natural mix of tocotrienols and tocopherols which contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. While some of the more well-known tocopherols are quite common in nature (especially in seeds, nuts, and some oils), tocotrienols are much rarer and at the same time show many times higher efficiency in protection against oxidative damage to our body.
Unfortunately, we can’t tell you more about the health effects of these active ingredients. Our tongue is tied by current EU legislation, which does not allow us to state even one extra letter about food supplements. For more detailed information, look up some non-selling websites.
